WARNING
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE: Risk of electric shock. Can cause injury or death. Heater may be connected to more than one branch circuit. Disconnect power to all circuits before installing the primary loop kit.
Disconnect Power to System
Disconnect power to all branch circuits of the Comfort Plus Hydronic system.
Open Kit
Unpackage the primary loop kit.
Assemble Primary Loop
Assemble the primary loop as per the enclosed diagram and instructions below:

Solder all piping and fittings per the diagram ▼ that follows using appropriate soldering methods and materials.

Install the circulator (10) using the seals shipped with the circulator.

Install the expansion tank (1), the auto vent (3), and the pressure gauge (9) using Teflon tape or pipe sealant on the threads to ensure a tight seal.
Connect Secondary Side
Connect the secondary side of the heating system to the outlet and return copper tee's on the primary loop system.
Continue Installation of Heating System
Continue with the installation of the heating system following all local, state, and national codes and regulations.
NOTE: Reference the Pressure Relief Valve Installation and the Plumbing for more information on wiring and plumbing of the system.
Support Primary Loop
Using the brackets provided (29), support the primary loop plumbing to avoid pressure on the inlet and outlet pipes of the exchanger.
WARNING
Risk of personal injury. Only close isolation flanges for filling or servicing system. Failure to open these flanges during operation will result in venting of hot water from Pressure Relief Valve, which could cause personal injury.
