Room Temperature Control - 2100 Series

The room temperature setpoint is adjusted by pressing the up arrow to increase, or the down arrow to decrease the setpoint. When the room temperature is below or even slightly above the setpoint, the variable speed blower is energized and circulates room air through the heater. The air is discharged into the room to maintain the desired temperature. In an effort to keep the room temperature constant, the blower automatically adjusts to the appropriate speed and may continue to operate after the setpoint has been reached.

If the customer prefers to monitor room temperature at a point away from the heater, an optional remote room temperature sensor is available. A remote room sensor also provides a more even heat distribution in an area where more than one heater is installed. It is recommended to use the optional remote room sensor in applications where the right side panel has less than a 12" clearance or where the right side of the heater is exposed to abnormal temperature conditions (drafts from a door or window or air flow from another floor or room of the house). For optimum room temperature control, proper placement of the heater is important.

Low Voltage thermostats can also be used to control the room temperature when connected to the 2100-Series room heater. Thermostats can be either single-stage or two-stage.
