The processor control board contains the heater software and program information. This board has a digital display and is the interface between the user and the heater. All program information can be updated or changed from the control panel.
The processor control board is used to read the discharge air and core sensors, the room and outdoor temperature sensors, and all other low voltage inputs. It receives power from the base I/O relay board through the interface cable.
NOTE: It is extremely important that the interface cable connecting the processor control board to the base I/O relay board is connected to the "Control Bd" port on the base I/O.
If the buttons on the processor control board are not functioning properly, check alignment of the board to the mounting bracket. Misalignment of the board can cause the buttons to be too close (held in) or too far away (won’t engage) from the faceplate.
