THIS PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFORMED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
Provides outdoor temperature information to Steffes 2100, Quantum, 2000, and/or 1000-Series room heaters, PLC controls, and 3100, 4100, 4200, and 5100-Series Comfort Plus heating systems and 9100-Series Commercial systems to automatically regulate brick core temperature. In heating systems that control heat pumps, it can be used for outdoor temperature lockouts for on-peak and off-peak times separately, and in 5100 and 9100 Hydronic systems for the outdoor reset feature and warm weather pump shut-down.

Can be wired directly to the heating system or to a PLC control (Transceiver).

If direct wired to the system, one sensor is needed for each heater.

If wired to a PLC control, only one sensor is needed for the entire application.

Uses Low voltage, 2-conductor shielded cable (40 ft. provided).

A mounting bracket is provided or its ½” male pipe thread nipple can be used for mounting into a standard ½" trade size knockout.
