Automatic charge control uses method of charge control, outdoor temperature, and start and full charge setpoints to calculate the amount of heat to store. Configuration 0 (C000) sets the method of charge control and must be set to a value of 3, 5, or 7 for automatic charge control. The outdoor temperature reading can be found in the HELP menu, and the start and full charge setpoints are C001 and C002. Checking and adjusting these settings will often resolve over and under charging issues.
