Time Clock Module Peak Control - 2100 Series

The Steffes time clock module is another option for providing a peak control signal to the heater(s). The optional time clock module is installed inside the heater’s line voltage electrical compartment and interfaces with the heater’s base I/O relay board . Peak control times must be programmed into the heater once the module is installed to enable the time clock feature.

In addition to providing peak control signals, the time clock module can also provide automatic room temperature set back , if desired. Refer to the instructions provided with the time clock module for more information on the installation and operation of this device.

NOTE: The clock’s built-in power back-up is approximately 3 days; thus, it is not recommended to turn off the main power supply (breaker) feeding the heater. Doing so may cause the heater to lose its time and day settings.

NOTE: The Steffes time clock module DOES NOT recognize daylight savings time.
