Part 11 Description - 3100 Series

Front Air Channel

The front air channel is used to maintain proper air flow through the system in an effort to keep temperature consistent throughout the brick core. The front air channel is placed between the face of the bricks and the insulation blankets. When installing, place the top of the air channel in with the air deflectors (arrow shaped pieces) facing inward and the narrow ends of the deflectors pointing up.

If installed incorrectly, impaired or improper air flow through the brick core may occur causing improper operation and/or equipment damage.
