This DIP Switch setting controls whether or not editing of function location data in the microprocessor is allowed. When this DIP Switch is in the "OFF" position, function location data can be edited. When this DIP Switch is in the "ON" position, no function location data can be edited regardless of what data value is entered in Location 39 (L39). (Only room temperature and core charge settings can be adjusted.) This DIP Switch should be put into the "ON" position for installations where you want to avoid the heater functions being tampered with.
OFF = function location data is allowed to be edited
ON = function location data is not allowed to be edited
