How to Change the Heater's Operation - 2000 Series

The room heating unit is shipped with each function location preset to a default value. It may be necessary to change one or more of the values at the time of installation to meet the needs of the power company and/or the consumer. To change a function location value, follow the steps below.

NOTE: The heater comes factory preset with a security lock out function preventing any data in Location 11 (L11) and larger from being changed. To change data in these locations, go to Location 39 (L39) to release the security lock on the locations needing to be adjusted.

1. Press the M button until a "d" appears on the mode digit.

2. Release the M button. The face plate will display "L00". The "L" indicates you are in a location, and the two numbers indicate which function location you are in.

3. Press the up arrow key until the location to be edited is reached. (For example: Location 8 would read "L08".)

4. After reaching the location to be edited, press and hold the M button. A "d" under the MODE digit and two numbers under the TEMPERATURE digits will be displayed. This is the data that is currently stored in this specific location.

5. Continue to hold the M button and use the up or down arrow buttons to change the data to the desired value.

6. Release the M button. Press the down arrow button until the current room temperature is displayed. Any changes made to the heater settings will be stored in the locations that have been adjusted.

NOTE: If no buttons on the control panel are pressed for a brief amount of time, the display will automatically return to its normal operating mode. Any changes made to the heater's settings will automatically be saved.
