The processor control board contains the system software and program information. This board contains the digital display and is the interface between the user and the Comfort Plus system. All program information can be updated or changed from the control panel.
The processor control board is used to read the discharge air sensor, the brick core temperature sensors, the outdoor temperature sensor, and all other low voltage inputs. It receives power from the base I/O relay board through the interface cable.
NOTE: It is extremely important that the interface cable connecting the processor control board to the base I/O relay board is connected to the "Control Bd" port on the base I/O relay board.
If the buttons on the processor control board are not functioning properly, check alignment of the board to the mounting bracket. Misalignment of the board can cause the buttons to be too close (stick) or too far away (won’t engage) from the faceplate.
