Core Blower Limit Switch
The core blower limit switch is located at the top of the supply air blower assembly near the discharge air high limit switch and the discharge air sensor. It monitors the discharge air temperature and interrupts power to the core blower(s) if the discharge air temperature exceeds the limit temperature. This sensor is an automatic reset limit switch; therefore, will reset and allow the core blowers to operate as soon as the discharge air temperature returns to normal.
The core blower switch may be a 170D or 160D limit.
