These drawings show how a 5100 Series heating system can be interfaced with multiple heat pumps. This type of application will require one double-pole double-throw (DPDT) relay, one single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay, and one Taco iSeries valve. The DPDT relay is needed to interface with the reversing valve and the SPDT relay is needed to initiate a "W" call. The iSeries valve needs to be set 15 degrees (F) higher than the Stage 1 duct temperature.
